Supporting Your Child's Career Journey
At our school, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to explore their career aspirations and receive the guidance they need to achieve their goals. We understand that parents play a crucial role in supporting their children's career development, and we are here to help you every step of the way.
Comprehensive Career Guidance
Our independent careers adviser is available to support students across all year groups. We offer tailored guidance to meet the unique needs of each student:
- Years 7 and 8: Group career guidance as well as one to one session introduce students to various career paths and help them start thinking about their futures.
- Years 9, 10, and 11: One-to-one career guidance to provide personalised advice and support as students make important decisions about their education and career paths.
- Years 12 and 13: Individual sessions available upon request to assist with university applications, apprenticeships, and other post-16 options.
We ensure that all students receive unbiased advice and are seen by relevant deadlines to support their onward destinations. For students with an EHCP/SEND, additional support is provided through our dedicated SEND provision.
